Philadelphia Phillies star Kyle Schwarber crushed a home run from one knee.
The 33-year-old slugger went deep twice in his first two at-bats during Monday’s game against the Chicago Cubs.
Schwarber launched his first homer of the night from one knee in the opening inning off Cubs starter Javier Assad, giving the Phillies a 1-0 lead.

It wasn’t until his next at-bat two innings later, again facing Assad, that Schwarber extended the Phillies’ lead to 4-0 with a two-run blast. Those two homers were his fifth and sixth of the season, pushing his RBI total to 12.
It was his first multi-home run game of the 2026 season after posting five last year — a campaign where he led the National League with 56 home runs and paced all of MLB with 132 RBI.
Entering Monday night’s game, the Phillies were 7-8 and sat third in the National League East. They’re opening a three-game set with the Cubs that runs through April 15.
