Schjelderup received a 14-day prison sentence in Denmark last November for sharing a video containing sexual content involving people under 18.
In his statement to the Danish court, Schjelderup said:
“I received the video on Snapchat as a bad joke. And then I forwarded it to a group of four friends, and continued this bad joke. I only saw it for a few seconds. I didn't see the whole video, but I get that there was something sexual, and that there were two young men.”
Schjelderup, who has been in strong form for Benfica recently and scored a penalty in the derby against Sporting CP, received a one-year probation period with no community service requirement.
