Denmark lead Group A with eight points after a goalless draw vs Italy. The Danes can seal a Brazil 2026 spot with four points from their final two games.
Danish captain and star Pernille Harder was passed fit after the head injury she picked up in Tuesday’s surprise 2-1 win in Sweden, but neither she nor her teammates had the quality needed to trouble the Italian defence.
After the goalless draw, Denmark remain well placed in the qualifying group, where the winners book a spot at next summer’s finals in Brazil while the other three sides head to the play-offs in autumn.
Denmark lead the group on eight points and can seal top spot with four points from their games against Sweden in Odense and away to Serbia in early June.

Italy forced a series of corners after the break and also wasted a free-kick from a promising position, but Danish keeper Freja Thisgaard was never seriously tested as the hosts picked up another vital point in their bid to reach Brazil.
