Blue Jays' George Springer suffers fractured big toe, latest injury to hit Toronto...
George Springer is struggling with a .185 batting average through 14 games, hitting two home runs, six RBIs, and stealing one base. The Toronto Blue Jays are also dealing with injuries, having lost key players like third baseman Addison Barger (10-day IL), starting pitcher Cody Ponce (15-day IL), starting catcher Alejandro Kirk (10-day IL), and outfielder Anthony Santander (60-day IL).
The Blue Jays' current roster is adjusting to these losses, with players like Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Andrés Giménez stepping up. With Springer and the team facing challenges, how do you think they'll bounce back?
“The CT will confirm something in terms of a plan. I know Georgie plays through a lot all the time,” said manager John Schneider. “Fingers crossed, but we’ll see what this CT says.”
Toronto Blue Jays' All-Star George Springer suffered a fractured left big toe during Saturday's game against the Minnesota Twins after fouling the ball off his foot. He's headed for a CT scan to determine the extent of the injury and how long he'll be out.

Springer, 36, was removed from the game and is now part of a growing list of Blue Jays injuries. The team already has nine players on the injured list, including six pitchers, making it a challenging time for manager John Schneider.
Jose Berrios, the starting pitcher, is on the 15-day IL but is expected to start his rehab assignment next week. Trey Yasavage, another starting pitcher, is set to make his second rehab start next week.
The Blue Jays are 6-8, ranking fourth in the American League East division after a 7-4 loss to the Twins. They're currently struggling with the second-worst run differential (-19) in the AL. Tough times for Toronto.
