Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) handed Chelsea a 3-0 defeat at Stamford Bridge, securing an 8-2 aggregate win and advancing to the Champions League quarter-finals. The holders dominated the match, with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia scoring in the 6th minute, followed by Bradley Barcola's stunning finish in the 14th minute. Substitute Senny Mayulu added a third goal in the 62nd minute, sealing Chelsea's exit from the tournament.

Chelsea's hopes of overturning a 5-2 first-leg deficit were quickly dashed, and the team was left to rue their mistakes, including a defensive blunder by Mamadou Sarr that led to Kvaratskhelia's goal. The home fans were booed off at half-time and full-time, reflecting their disappointment with the team's performance.

The match took a turn for PSG just six minutes in when Chelsea's Mamadou Sarr miscontrolled a long ball, allowing Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to pounce and score past Robert Sanchez. This was Kvaratskhelia's third goal in the tie, having scored twice off the bench in the first leg.

PSG capitalized on another Chelsea mistake eight minutes later, with Bradley Barcola scoring a stunning goal from the edge of the box. This put the tie out of sight, with Barcola also scoring in the first leg. The swift counter-attack caught Chelsea off guard, and PSG's momentum continued.

Les Parisiens dominated the game, but Kvaratskhelia's goal was ruled out due to offside in the 30th minute. Chelsea pushed back, but Matvei Safonov made crucial saves to deny João Pedro, Cole Palmer, and Jorrel Hato. Robert Sanchez also blocked Barcola's shot from a tight angle, keeping the score 2-0 in PSG's favor.

Chelsea came back strong after half-time, looking to end their UCL campaign on a high. Pedro had a great chance, curling his shot inches wide of the target. Manager Liam Rosenior made a triple substitution just before the hour mark, bringing off Pedro, Palmer, and captain Enzo Fernandez. One of the replacements, Liam Delap, immediately tested PSG goalkeeper Safonov with a close-range shot.

PSG sealed the deal with Senny Mayulu's stunning fifth goal of the season, curling it into the top corner.

Chelsea's night got worse as Trevoh Chalobah suffered a nasty injury and was stretched off. The Blues are struggling, with just one win in their last seven games (D2, L4).
