Kerem Aktürkoğlu scored the only goal of the match, tapping in from close range after a scuffed shot from Orkun Kökçü. This victory marks Turkey's fourth win in four meetings with Kosovo.

Kosovo, on the other hand, had a historic run, coming close to qualifying for the World Cup for the first time since joining FIFA and UEFA in 2016. Their impressive 4-3 win over Slovakia had brought them to the brink of qualification, but Turkey's experience ultimately proved too much.

Turkey was on a mission, looking to end their 24-year wait for a World Cup appearance. The hunger and desire were palpable from the start in Pristina, with both teams desperate to secure a win.
