The fight started when Jaylin Williams and Champagnie got into a shoving match, which escalated when Mitchell intervened, leading to a bench-clearing brawl that spilled into the stands. Mitchell and Champagnie were ejected, along with Williams and Cason Wallace, and have been suspended without pay. Williams was fined $50,000, while Wallace and Wizards forward Anthony Gill received $35,000 fines.
A scuffle broke out, spilling into the stands, but cooler heads eventually prevailed. Both players involved were ejected, along with Oklahoma City's Jaylin Williams and Thunder's Cason Wallace for fueling the fire. Sounds like things got intense.
Jaylin Williams was hit with a $50,000 fine, while Cason Wallace and Anthony Gill received $35,000 fines each for their parts in the altercation. Meanwhile, Ajay Mitchell, the 23-year-old Belgian, will miss Monday's game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to his one-game suspension.

Justin Champagnie's suspension will be served today, Sunday, March 23, when the Washington Wizards visit the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. Champagnie was suspended for one game without pay for fighting and escalating an on-court altercation that spilled into the spectator stands during Saturday's game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.
