Rookie sensations Munetaka Murakami and Chase DeLauter off to historic starts, impressing with power...

MLB rookies Munetaka Murakami of the Chicago White Sox and Chase DeLauter of the Cleveland Guardians are making waves with their historic starts. Both players homered in each of their first three games, joining an elite group that includes Trevor Story (2016) and Kyle Lewis (2019).

Murakami, 26, has been impressive with his power, hitting three home runs in his first three games, including a solo shot in his MLB debut. DeLauter, 24, has four homers in his first three games, showcasing his skills as the fifth player in Guardians' history to homer in his first career regular-season at-bat.

Masataka Murakami, the White Sox's big Japanese international free agent signing, made an instant impact. He hit his first career home run off Jake Woodford in game one's ninth inning.

He kept the hot streak going, hitting his second home run off Chad Patrick in game two's fourth inning, then his third against Brandon Sproat in game three's second inning.

Munetaka Murakami's impressive performance against the Milwaukee Brewers included three home runs, his only hits of the series, resulting in a 3-for-9 batting record with three RBI, four walks, and four strikeouts. Despite the White Sox's sweep, Murakami's stats earned him a 1.871 OPS, currently ranking second in the league.

Chase DeLauter's streak is even more remarkable, with four home runs in his first three games, joining an elite group of players including Trevor Story and Kyle Lewis to achieve this feat.

Cleveland's Chase DeLauter is making history. He hit four home runs in his first three games, including two in his MLB debut. DeLauter's stats are crazy: 5-for-14 (.357) with five RBI and five strikeouts heading into game four against Seattle.

Chase DeLauter's fourth home run turned out to be the game-changer. He launched one in the 10th inning of game three, putting the Guardians up 6-3, which proved just enough for the win after a tense finish, with Seattle falling short 6-5.
