Novak Djokovic has withdrawn from the Monte-Carlo Masters due to a right shoulder injury, tournament organisers announced on Friday. The 38-year-old Serbian tennis star had also pulled out of the Miami Open, citing the same injury.

Novak Djokovic last played at Indian Wells earlier this month, where he lost to defending champion Jack Draper in the round of 16. Djokovic, a 24-time Grand Slam winner, has since withdrawn from the Monte-Carlo Masters due to a right shoulder injury.
