The Utah Mammoth ended the Dallas Stars' 15-game point streak with a thrilling 6-3 win, scoring four goals in the third period. Kailer Yamamoto scored the game-winning goal, while Clayton Keller, Nate Schmidt, Jack McBain, Michael Carcone, and Lawson Crouse also contributed to the Mammoth's victory. Vitek Vanecek made 27 saves to secure the win.


The Stars, who had been on a franchise-tying 15-game stretch without a regulation loss (14-0-1), saw their streak end with goals from Sam Steel, Wyatt Johnston, and Adam Erne. Casey DeSmith stopped 16 shots for the Stars.


NHL Roundup: Utah's Thriling Comeback

Utah Mammoth stormed back from a 2-2 tie at the end of the second period to defeat the Dallas Stars 6-3. The Mammoth scored four unanswered goals in the third, including a short-handed, even-strength, power-play, and empty-net goal. The win improves Utah's record to 35-27-6, while Dallas falls to 42-15-10.




The game was a high-scoring affair, with 20 players recording at least one point. Every Utah forward except three had a point, while Lawson Crouse (UTA), Jamie Benn (DAL), and Tyler Myers (DAL) led all skaters with a 7.6 player rating.



Devils Edge Bruins in Overtime Thriller

The New Jersey Devils came back from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Boston Bruins 4-3 in overtime. After the Bruins led 2-0 heading into the second period, the Devils scored three straight goals, with Paul Cotter's 7th goal putting them up 3-2. David Pastrnak tied it up early in the third with his 26th goal, sending it to OT. 




The Devils snatched an overtime win thanks to Cotter's eighth goal of the season, scoring with just seven seconds left to edge their opponents 34-31-2.


Boston, clamping down on an Eastern Conference Wild Card spot, dropped to 37-23-7 with the loss. 


Kings Win in Panarin's Return to NY

Artemi Panarin recorded an assist in his return to New York as the LA Kings beat the Rangers 4-1. Alex Laferriere led the way with his 17th goal and 14th and 15th assists, earning an 8.1 player rating. The Kings improved to 28-24-15, while the Rangers remain struggling at 28-31-8 in the East.




Red Wings Cruise Past Flays in Calgary

The Red Wings scored three unanswered goals in the second period to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 3-1 lead, then pulled away to beat the Flames 5-2. Matt Coronato's 15th goal kept Calgary close, but Detroit improved to 37-23-8.




Patrick Kane scored twice and Alex DeBrincat had three assists, leading the Red Wings' charge. DeBrincat's 8.5 player rating topped all players in Monday's games.
