Jamal Murray dropped a season-high 53 points, while Nikola Jokic notched a monster triple-double with 23 points, 21 rebounds, and 19 assists, leading the Denver Nuggets to a thrilling 142-135 win over the Dallas Mavericks.

Murray's scoring explosion included 33 points in the first half, and he shot 19-of-28 from the field, including 9-of-14 from three-point range. Jokic, a three-time NBA MVP, also recorded his 6,000th career assist during the game, becoming the first center in NBA history to reach that milestone.

The Denver Nuggets came back strong after the Dallas Mavericks narrowed the gap to just one point, 127-126, with 4:20 left in the game. Nikola Jokic's floater, Peyton Watson's three-pointer, and Jamal Murray's three-pointer helped the Nuggets pull away, securing a 142-135 win and handing the Mavs their fifth straight defeat. Rookie Cooper Flagg led the Mavericks with 26 points.

The Nuggets' victory was fueled by standout performances from Murray, who scored a season-high 53 points, and Jokic, who recorded 23 points, 21 rebounds, and 19 assists. The Mavericks had a strong showing from Flagg and Naji Marshall, who scored 22 points.

The Denver Nuggets and Minnesota Timberwolves are still in a tight battle for the fourth spot in the Western Conference. The Timberwolves just pulled off an incredible comeback, overcoming a 13-point deficit in overtime to beat the Houston Rockets 110-108. Julius Randle hit a game-winning jumper with 8.8 seconds left in OT, capping a 15-0 run for Minnesota.

The Nuggets, on the other hand, are riding high after winning five of their last seven games, including a 128-112 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Nikola Jokic led the charge with a triple-double, showcasing his MVP form. With the Timberwolves' win, they're now just a half-game behind the Nuggets in the standings.

Joel Embiid and Paul George made their returns to the court and it was a beautiful sight! The duo combined for 63 points, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 157-137 win over the Chicago Bulls. Embiid, the former NBA MVP, looked sharp after missing 13 games with an oblique strain, dropping 35 points and shooting 15 of the Sixers' first 19 points in the opening quarter.

Paul George added 28 points, eight rebounds, and six assists, while Buddy Hield contributed 25 points off the bench. The Sixers' bench outscored the Bulls' 64-17, with Hield and Shake Milton (14 points, four 3s) leading the charge. The win moves Philly to 3-1 since the trade deadline, and they'll look to keep the momentum going against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

Paul George was unstoppable after warming up, scoring 23 of his 28 points in the second half, returning from a 25-game suspension. He hit six three-pointers, while Joel Embiid was efficient with 12-of-17 shooting, making all three of his three-point attempts.

George's strong performance helped the 76ers secure a win, with Embiid contributing a solid all-around game.

Embiid also chipped in with six rebounds and seven assists, showcasing his all-around skills. With him and George back, the Sixers are looking like a serious playoff contender - if they can stay healthy.

Philly's currently seventh in the East, just a fraction behind Atlanta for sixth place and that last direct playoff spot. The chase is on!

The Atlanta Hawks edged out Detroit 130-129 in OT, with CJ McCollum and Jalen Johnson leading the charge with 27 points each. Meanwhile, Oklahoma City's 12-game win streak came to an end as they fell to the Boston Celtics.

The Hawks' win keeps them in the mix for sixth place in the East, while the Thunder's loss drops them to second in the West.

Jaylen Brown led the Boston Celtics with 31 points, while Jayson Tatum added 19 points and 12 rebounds in a big comeback win. The Celtics were down by 13 in the first quarter, but battled back strong.

Over in OKC, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was on fire, scoring 33 points and making 10 of 12 shots from the field for the Thunder.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was the lone star for OKC, handing out eight assists, but struggled to get support from his teammates. Chet Holmgren managed just 10 points, and Jalen Williams added seven.

“We were able to keep them off the free throw line and we were able to keep them out of transition,” Celtics coach Joe Mazzulla said. “When you do those things, the game will just take care of itself.”

The Detroit Pistons struggled at home without star Cade Cunningham, who is recovering from a collapsed lung. Jalen Duren led the team with 26 points and 14 rebounds, but it wasn't enough as they fell to the Atlanta Hawks 130-129 in overtime.

The game was a nail-biter, with 13 lead changes and the Hawks leading by as much as 21 points before the Pistons forced overtime. CJ McCollum hit a three-point play midway through OT to seal the win for Atlanta.

Luka Doncic Leads Lakers To Win Over Pacers

Luka Doncic led the LA Lakers to a 137-130 win over the Indiana Pacers in Indy, bouncing back from their Monday loss in Detroit.

Luka Doncic dropped 43 points, grabbed six rebounds, and dished out seven assists, leading the LA Lakers to a 137-130 win over the Indiana Pacers. LeBron James was close to a triple-double with 23 points, nine rebounds, and nine assists, while Austin Reaves added 25 points.

The Lakers dominated early, leading by as much as 29 points, and were still up by 23 early in the fourth quarter. But the Pacers mounted a comeback, cutting the deficit to nine before the Lakers closed it out.

LeBron James and Luka Doncic hit crucial free throws, and Jake LaRavia added a dunk to push the Lakers' lead back to double digits. The Pacers' Obi Toppin hit a last-gasp three-pointer, but it wasn't enough to spoil the Lakers' win.

Lakers coach JJ Redick was stoked with his team's performance, especially against a Pacers team known for playing with a “relentless” pace. This was the last game of a six-game road trip, and the Lakers are happy to head home with a win under their belt.
