Giannis Antetokounmpo made his return to the court after a five-week absence due to a right calf strain, but it was a disappointing comeback as the Milwaukee Bucks suffered a 108-81 loss to the Boston Celtics.

Antetokounmpo, who was playing his first game since January 23, managed to score 19 points and grab 11 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to prevent the Bucks' heavy defeat.

The Celtics, missing Jaylen Brown and Neemias Queta, dominated the game, with Payton Pritchard leading the charge with 25 points and nine assists. The Bucks' struggles were evident, and Antetokounmpo's return didn't spark the team to victory. Despite his efforts, the Bucks were outrebounded 54-41 and shot just 36.5% from the field.

The Boston Celtics are keeping up their pursuit of the Detroit Pistons at the top of the Eastern Conference with a strong all-around offense. All five starters scored in double digits, and Payton Pritchard came off the bench to drop 25 points, including five three-pointers.

Pritchard's impressive performance helped the Celtics secure a win, showcasing their depth and talent.

The Boston Celtics made an impressive 20 three-pointers out of 50 attempts, with Derrick White and Sam Hauser leading the charge with four three-pointers each. This strong shooting performance helped Boston secure a win, improving their record to 41-20.

The victory moves the Celtics to second place in the Eastern Conference, five games behind the Detroit Pistons, who are currently leading with a 45-14 record. On the other hand, the Milwaukee Bucks suffered their third straight loss, dropping to 26-34 and slipping to 11th place in the East, just outside the play-in spots.

In other games, the Thunder continued their strong run, while the Mavericks edged the Kings in a tight matchup.

Trae Young became a bit too enthusiastic, getting ejected for his new team, Washington, before even playing a game for them. Young has been sidelined since his trade from Atlanta on January 7th, but is set to make his Wizards debut on February 5th.

Trae Young got into some hot water on Monday, getting ejected from the Wizards' game against the Houston Rockets before even playing for them. He stormed onto the court in the third quarter, apparently upset after teammate Jamir Watkins was shoved by Rockets' Tari Eason.

“Don't expect me to get ejected too many more times D.C...but I'm definitely bringing that energy & competitiveness when I'm back for my brothers!” Young wrote on Twitter following the incident.

Houston dominated Washington, winning 123-118, and improved to 38-22, solidifying their third-place spot in the Western Conference. Alperen Sengun led the charge with 32 points, while Kevin Durant added 30 points to the Rockets' tally.
