Former West Ham striker signs free transfer deal after car accident recovery...
Michail Antonio has joined Qatar's Al Sailiya on a free transfer, marking his first club since recovering from a serious car accident. The 35-year-old Jamaica international, who is West Ham United's all-time leading Premier League goalscorer, signed a deal with the Qatari club, although the contract length and financial terms weren't disclosed.
Antonio, who left West Ham in August 2025, had been without a club since his contract expired. He's looking to revive his career after a tough recovery from multiple thigh fractures sustained in the car accident in December 2024. He made a comeback in June 2025, playing for Jamaica in the Gold Cup.
Antonio parted ways with the Premier League side in August, with his contract not being renewed by the London club.

Antonio's been off the pitch since December 2024 after a serious car crash, where he hit a tree on his way home from training. He suffered multiple thigh fractures, needed surgery, and spent over three weeks in hospital.
Antonio made his comeback in June 2025, playing 5 minutes for Jamaica in their Gold Cup loss to Guatemala. He joined West Ham in 2015 and went on to make 323 appearances, scoring 83 goals.
A legend at West Ham, Antonio is the club's top Premier League scorer with 68 goals.
