Otto Addo has announced a 26-man Black Stars squad for Ghana's friendlies against Austria and Germany, with four players getting their first call-up. Thomas Partey, Inaki Williams, and Alexander Djiku are back in the squad.
The squad is preparing for crucial World Cup warm-ups as Ghana gears up for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Ghana takes on Austria in Vienna on March 27th, then heads to Stuttgart to face Germany on March 30.
Four Fresh Faces Get Maiden Call-ups
Otto Addo names four debutants in Ghana's squad for Austria and Germany friendlies.
Derrick Luckassen, a centre-back with Pafos FC in Cyprus, has a impressive resume: AZ Alkmaar academy, PSV, Hertha BSC, Anderlecht, and more. He recently won the 2024-25 Cypriot league title and scored Pafos' maiden Champions League goal.
Marvin Senaya, an AJ Auxerre player, gets his first Ghana call-up after playing for Strasbourg, Sochaux, and Lausanne-Sport since 2021. He's eligible for Togo too, but Ghana FA is confident he'll pick the Black Stars.
Daniel Agyei, a forward/winger with Kocaelispor in Turkey, has English roots and experience with Leyton Orient, Crewe Alexandra, Oxford United, and Burnley. Patrick Pfeiffer, a Darmstadt 98 defender, rounds out Ghana's four new faces.

Familiar Faces Back in Black Stars Fold
Inaki Williams, Thomas Partey, and Alexander Djiku return, bringing experience and excitement to Ghana's squad.
Antoine Semenyo keeps his spot in attack, riding high on his February Premier League Player of the Month award form. Jordan Ayew, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku, and Christopher Bonsu Baah round out the attacking options.
