Diao and Douvikas lead Como's 5-0 rout of Pisa...
Como stormed to a 5-0 home win over Pisa, cementing their place in the Serie A top four. This emphatic victory marked their second-ever set of five consecutive top-flight wins.
Pisa had snapped their winless streak last week, but were quickly put to the test as Como dominated from the start.
However, in the opening 10 minutes, a dreadful square pass from Stefano Moreo was pounced on by Assane Diao, who marked his first start since mid-December by driving at the open Pisa defence and slotting into the bottom corner.
Diao’s long injury lay-off clearly hadn’t left the forward rusty, as he created Como’s second just before the half-hour mark.
The Lariani caught Pisa on a counter, which Diao led down the right, before cutting inside and picking out Anastasios Douvikas to bury in at the near post for his third H2H goal of the campaign.
Cesc Fabregas’ men may have boasted a comfortable two-goal lead at the break, but an injury to Jesus Rodriguez, which forced him off, meant the hosts didn’t come through the first half unscathed.

Martin Baturina, replacing the injured Jesus Rodriguez, made an immediate impact. Just three minutes after the restart, Baturina picked up the ball, beat Simone Canestrelli, and unleashed a shot from the edge of the area.
The Croatian's strike flew into the bottom corner, putting Como 3-0 up and effectively ending Pisa's hopes.
Pisa thought they'd mounted a comeback when substitutes Filip Stojilkovic and Henrik Meister scored, but both goals were ruled out for offside. These decisions took the wind out of Pisa's sails, making a comeback look unlikely.
The final nail in Pisa's coffin came in the 75th minute, as Nico Paz scored his first home league goal since October. Paz swept home from Alberto Moreno's cutback, making it 3-0 and crushing Pisa's hopes.

Como wrapped up a perfect afternoon with a fifth goal, as Nicolas Kuhn's square pass was turned into an empty net by Maximo Perrone. This sealed an 8-0 aggregate win over Pisa across the season's two meetings.
