Coco Gauff delivered a commanding 6-1, 6-1 win over Karolina Muchova on Thursday to book her place ‌in the Miami Open final.

The American world ‌number four made a slow start ‌as Muchova broke immediately to ‌take the opening game, but Gauff responded ⁠with a ‌break of her own to level and then reeled off the remaining games without dropping a single one, closing out the first set to love in ruthless ⁠fashion.

Muchova, 29, had been flying, winning the Doha title earlier this season and beating Victoria Mboko in the Miami quarter-finals - a repeat of their Doha final clash.

Coco Gauff's dominant form continued in the second set, breaking three times to complete a 6-1, 6-1 victory, extending ‌her perfect head-to-head record to six wins against Muchova.

Gauff will ‌face either Aryna Sabalenka in Saturday's final, with the two heavyweights scheduled to contest the second semi-final later ⁠on Thursday.
