Stuttgart is on fire. They put on a commanding display, beating Augsburg 5-2 to extend their unbeaten streak in the Bundesliga to six matches, ending Augsburg's eight-game unbeaten run at WWK Arena.

Deniz Undav was the star of the show, scoring two goals and setting up another. Tiago Tomas, Nikolas Nartey, and Ermedin Demirovic also got on the scoresheet for Stuttgart, while Fabian Rieder and Anton Kade scored for Augsburg.

Angelo Stiller's cross from the left fell to Undav, who tucked away his 17th league goal after Dahmen batted it down.

Stuttgart dominated early on, but Augsburg looked to have a reprieve when Elvis Rexhbecaj had a shot on goal. However, that was short-lived, as Stuttgart resumed their attacking pressure.

A poor clearance by Chema Andres fell to Nikolas Nartey, who cleverly backheeled it for Tiago Tomas to sweep home.

Stuttgart's momentum kept building, and they almost went 3-0 up on their next attack when Nartey finished off Maximilian Mittelstadt's low cross.

Matters nearly got worse for Augsburg before the break when the referee blew for a penalty against Han-Noah Massengo, only for VAR to deem he hadn’t done enough to give away a penalty when impeding former Burnley teammate Lorenz Assignon.

Augsburg dodged a penalty just before halftime when VAR overturned a spot kick decision against Han-Noah Massengo.

Augsburg's comeback hopes were short-lived as Stuttgart scored almost immediately after the restart. Chris Fuhrich received a ball over the top, cut inside, and had his shot saved by Dahmen, but Deniz Undav was quickest to react, completing his brace and securing Stuttgart's 4-1 led.

Augsburg fought back in the final 20 minutes, with Dimitris Giannoulis' cross leading to Anton Kade's goal, but Stuttgart sealed the win when Deniz Undav set up Ermedin Demirovic for the fifth goal, making it 5-2.

Stuttgart bounced back from their midweek Europa League exit with a 5-2 win, securing their first away win in four games under Sebastian Hoeness.

Augsburg, on the other hand, suffered their third straight defeat, and with a tough head-to-head record against Stuttgart, they'll be happy to see the back of them
