Jens Luras Oftebro of Norway has secured his second Nordic Combined gold at the 2026 Winter Olympics, winning the large hill/10km event with a time of 24:45.0. He beat Austria's Johannes Lamparter, who took silver, and Finland's Ilkka Herola, who claimed bronze 14.9 seconds behind Oftebro.


Oftebro's victory marks his second gold of the Games, having previously won the normal hill/10km title. Ilkka Herola's bronze adds to Finland's medal count, showcasing their strong performance in Nordic Combined.


The Norwegian trailed in fifth after ski jumping, 22 seconds behind Japan's Ryoto Yamamoto. But Lamparter surged ahead on the first lap, and Oftebro quickly closed the gap on Yamamoto, forming a six-man group.


Herola, who had a disappointing jump, was part of that group. He'd made up 32 seconds on Yamamoto, showing strong cross-country skills


Herola and Oftebro emerged as the strongest in the chase group, leaving others behind and catching up with Lamparter. The trio remained tight until the final kilometer, when Oftebro kicked into high gear, leaving Herola and Lamparter struggling to keep up.


Oftebro's powerful push up the hill sealed his win, while Herola settled for bronze as Lamparter took silver. 


Jens Luras Oftebro of Norway dominated the final stretch, leaving Johannes Lamparter of Austria struggling to keep up, and secured his second gold medal at the 2026 Winter Olympics in the Nordic Combined large hill/10km event. Oftebro's win puts him on track for a possible three gold medals, with the team event still to come.




Finland's Ilkka Herola took bronze, adding to his country's medal count, which now stands at four bronzes at Milan-Cortina. Eero Hirvonen, who took bronze in the normal hill/10km, finished fifth this time, giving both Herola and Hirvonen a third and a fifth place each in Nordic Combined. Finland's Wille Karhumaa finished 16th.
