The disappointment Spurs felt earlier turned to elation for Arsenal...

Eberechi Eze was the star of the show again in the North London Derby, scoring a brace as Arsenal beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-1. This win extends Arsenal's winning streak in the derby to five matches and keeps them ahead of Manchester City in the Premier League title race.

The atmosphere at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was tense, with home fans booing Arsenal whenever they touched the ball early on. Igor Tudor was making his debut as Spurs manager, but his team struggled to contain Arsenal's attack.

Arsenal had plenty of possession, but Tottenham's defense held firm. Radu Dragusin denied Viktor Gyökeres a header, and Leandro Trossard's shot from range was also blocked. Gyokeres then hit wide, before a brief stoppage due to a communication fault.

Once play resumed, Arsenal kept pushing. William Saliba headed wide from a corner, and Trossard failed to capitalize on a Xavi Simons mistake, shooting harmlessly off-target.

Spurs tried to push back, despite Archie Gray taking a blow to the face. But Arsenal took the lead just after the half-hour mark. Bukayo Saka beat Sarr and found Eberechi Eze, who got a touch on the ball and finished it off.

Spurs responded quickly, equalizing within 24 seconds of the restart. Randal Kolo Muani dispossessed Declan Rice and fired past David Raya. Arsenal pushed again, but Leandro Trossard struck agonizingly wide as the teams went into the break level.

There was another delay due to communication issues before the second half kicked off, but play got underway rapidly. Xavi Simons tested David Raya early on, and then Viktor Gyökeres scored just 90 seconds into the half, firing past Guglielmo Vicario.

Youssouf Fofana thought he had responded quickly with a goal, but it was ruled out for a push on Gabriel Magalhães. Randal Kolo Muani also had a goal disallowed, much to his frustration.

Bukayo Saka linked up nicely with Eberechi Eze, but his shot was straight at Guglielmo Vicario. Saka was denied again shortly after, this time by Micky van de Ven, but Eze was on hand to finish and take his tally to five goals in two North London derbies.

In the final stretch, David Raya made a superb save to claw away a Richarlison flick, helping Arsenal avoid late nerves after their midweek win at the Molineux Stadium.

The disappointment Spurs felt earlier turned to elation for Arsenal, with Viktor Gyökeres holding off Archie Gray before finishing, securing a 4-1 win. This was their third win in eight Premier League games, restoring their five-point lead over Manchester City, albeit having played an extra game.

The win also dealt a blow to Spurs, inflicting their third consecutive defeat. They're now just four points above the relegation zone, having failed to capitalize on Nottingham Forest's loss to Liverpool earlier.
