Denmark to face Portugal, Norway & Wales in 2026-27 UEFA Nations League, with matches from Sept to Nov. Denmark seeks revenge against Portugal after 2025 Nations League quarter-final loss.

Denmark is set to face off against Portugal, led by Cristiano Ronaldo, and Norway, featuring Erling Haaland, in the 2026-27 UEFA Nations League. They'll also be taking on Wales in Group A4. The matches are scheduled to kick off in September and wrap up by November this year.

The draw took place in Brussels, Belgium, and saw other big teams like Spain, England, and France get pitted against tough opponents. Portugal is the defending champion, having won the trophy for the second time in 2025.

The first set of matches is scheduled to kick off on 24-26 September, with the final round wrapping up on 15-17 November.

Denmark was drawn into the top tier of the Nations League, which means big things are expected. If they top their group or come second, they're through to the knockout phase.

The quarter-finals are penciled in for March 2027, with the final four battling it out in June. 

The team that finishes last in the group will be relegated to the B-tier of the Nations League.

Denmark is gearing up for a rematch with Portugal, after a heartbreaking exit in the 2025 Nations League quarter-finals. They lost 3-5 on aggregate over two legs.

Denmark had done well in their group, finishing second behind Spain and ahead of Serbia and Switzerland. 

Denmark's last clash with Norway was a friendly at Brondby Stadium in June 2024, where they came out on top 3-1.

Before diving into the Nations League, Denmark's focus is on the World Cup qualification playoffs in March. 

North Macedonia is up next for Denmark on March 26. A win will set them up for a clash with either Ireland or the Czech Republic five days later, in a match that'll decide their World Cup fate.

If Denmark comes out on top in these two matches, they'll be heading to the World Cup this summer, with games in the USA, Canada, and Mexico. The stakes are high.
