Vejle pulled off a major upset, beating 10-man Brondby 2-1 to claim their third win of the season. The hosts were reduced to 10 men after goalkeeper Patrick Pentz was sent off in the 75th minute, but Vejle capitalized on the advantage to secure a sensational victory.
Brondby's struggles continued as they slipped to third place, nine points behind leaders AGF. The team had been on a roll, topping the table after 15 rounds, but three straight losses have seen them drop down the standings.
Vejle's win keeps their hopes of avoiding relegation alive, cutting the gap to Silkeborg in 10th place to six points, despite still sitting bottom of the league.
The dramatic match saw Brondby goalkeeper Patrick Pentz sent off in the second half, and Jelle Duin capitalized on the advantage, scoring the winning goal with 10 minutes left. Brondby dominated the first half but struggled to break the deadlock, missing key players Noah Nartey and Marko Divkovic due to suspension.
Vejle struggled to contain Brondby's attacking threats, particularly from Oliver Villadsen and Sho Fukuda, who created chances for Nicolai Vallys and Stijn Spierings in the first half.
However, Vejle took control in the second half, scoring the opener four minutes after the restart. Mike Vestergaard's long ball was deflected, and Christian Gammelgaard finished clinically past Pentz, giving Vejle the lead.

Brondby leveled the game in the 72nd minute through Fukuda, who scored an easy finish from Michael Gregoritsch's cross. But their joy was short-lived, as Patrick Pentz was sent off three minutes later for kicking Bismark Edjeodji, giving Vejle a penalty.
Jelle Duin scored from the spot, converting on the second attempt after Thomas Mikkelsen saved the initial shot from Mads Enggaard. Vejle held on to secure a thrilling win, despite Brondby's late push.
