Xabi Alonso seeks to end draw streak in LaLiga clash

Real Madrid looks to break two-game draw streak against Girona, with Xabi Alonso praising Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jude Bellingham. Madrid welcomes back injured trio Franco Mastantuono, Antonio Rudiger, and Eder Militao for LaLiga clash.

“I have very good communication with Jude, a very good relationship...”

Xabi Alonso is bullish about Trent Alexander-Arnold's potential at Real Madrid, stating ‘we will see a better Trent.’ The Real Madrid boss heaped praise on the England international, saying he's only just starting to show what he can do.

Xabi Alonso is confident that Trent Alexander-Arnold will improve, saying “I think we will see a better Trent.” The Real Madrid boss made the comment ahead of their LaLiga clash with Girona.

“Without doubt, it's positive after the injury, he could do 90 minutes against Elche, 90 against Olympiacos.

“We need him. It's his first year, and it's normal to have this adaptation (period).”

Trent Alexander-Arnold has settled in at Real Madrid, despite some initial struggles. He showed improvement in Madrid's 4-3 win over Olympiacos, after a tough 2-2 draw against Elche.

“He's starting to feel (like) himself,” continued Alonso.

“He is demanding too; he plays at a top, top level. We have to be there for him, in this change that is so big for him, but it's good news.”

Xabi Alonso also heaped praise on Jude Bellingham, saying the midfielder has been in great form recently.

“I have very good communication with Jude, a very good relationship,” said Alonso.

“He's a top world-class star, but he has this desire to improve, to learn, to be more efficient with the big potential he's got.

“I like these players with this curiosity and initiative to ask what we can do better.”

Real Madrid is looking to bounce back from their last two league draws against Girona. Coach Xabi Alonso has welcomed back Franco Mastantuono, Antonio Rudiger, and Eder Militao from injury, strengthening the squad. However, Raul Asencio's participation is uncertain due to gastroenteritis.

The return of Rudiger and Militao is a significant boost for Real Madrid's defense, while Mastantuono's comeback adds depth to the team. Alonso is optimistic about the team's chances, saying “We need a win to keep adding three more points if we want to stay up there.”
