Napoli bounced back from a rough patch with a thrilling 3-1 win over Atalanta, thanks to David Neres' brace and Noa Lang's first goal for the club. This victory marked Raffaele Palladino's debut on the Atalanta bench, but unfortunately, it didn't go as planned.

Atalanta had parted ways with former coach Ivan Juric after a seven-match winless streak, and Palladino was making his hometown debut. Napoli, on the other hand, were coming off a tough run, with injuries to key players like Billy Gilmour, Andre Frank Zambo Anguissa, and Romelu Lukaku. Despite this, they managed to secure a comfortable win, with Neres scoring two goals and Lang netting his first goal of the season.

David Neres ended an 11-month Serie A goal drought with a brilliant finish. He latched onto Rasmus Hojlund's clever flick, beat Honest Ahanor, and curled the ball into the far corner. What a strike.

Atalanta pushed for an equalizer, with Charles De Ketelaere and Mario Pasalic wasting good chances. They fired off target, but the pressure was on Manchester United to see it out.

Napoli's lead was doubled when Marco Carnesecchi's clearance was poorly handled, and Scott McTominay put the ball back in for David Neres to score with a left-footed shot into the opposite corner.

Just before halftime, Noa Lang scored his first goal for Napoli, heading in a Giovanni Di Lorenzo cross at the back post, after getting in front of Raoul Bellanova.

Palladino shook things up at half-time with a double substitution, but Atalanta's momentum was short-lived. Napoli's McTominay had a powerful effort saved by Carnesecchi, and De Ketelaere's clever shot flew just wide. Then, Scamacca's stunning volley hit the back of the net, and Atalanta were back in it!

Scamacca's goal was a beauty - a 12-yard volley off Bellanova's cross that flew into the net. Atalanta were pushing hard, but Napoli's defense held strong. The game was heating up, and anything could happen.

Atalanta woke up in the second half, and it was all De Ketelaere and Scamacca. De Ketelaere's curler hit the crossbar, and Scamacca had a strike saved by Vanja Milinkovic-Savic. The Bergamo outfit pushed hard, but Napoli's goalkeeper was up to the task.

Atalanta's pressure was palpable, with Scamacca nodding a Lazar Samardzic cross just wide. The game was intense, with Carnesecchi making a crucial save late on to keep Napoli in the lead. The tension was building, but Napoli held on to secure the win.
