Nairobi United's CAF Confederation Cup campaign got off to a disappointing start as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Wydad Casablanca in Morocco. The Kenyan Premier League outfit were dominated by their Moroccan opponents, conceding a goal just three minutes into the game.
Wydad's Ayoub Boucheta scored the opener with a superb effort, dribbling into the United box before finding the back of the net. The hosts continued to press and added two more goals to secure a comfortable win. Nairobi United will look to regroup and bounce back in the competition.
Wydad Casablanca dominated the game, doubling their lead just before halftime through Mohamed Bouchouari's impressive goal in the 44th minute, making it 2-0.
In other CAF Champions League action, Kenyans Posta Rangers made history by qualifying for the group stage after beating Etoile Sportive du Sahel 7-6 on penalties, following a 2-2 aggregate draw over two legs.

In the other Group B match, Maniema beat Azam FC 2-0, with Christian Panzi and Ozome scoring the goals. Nairobi United's next game is against Maniema on November 30.

Zesco United made changes at halftime, bringing on Pascal Phiri and Peter Musukuma for Abraham Siankombo and Solomon Sakala. The substitutions brought a new energy to the Zambian side, who dominated possession and created chances in the second half, but ultimately failed to find an equalizer.

In Group A, Olympique de Safi and USM Alger both got their campaigns off to a winning start. Safi secured a 1-0 away win at Djoliba, thanks to Salaheddine Errahouli's well-taken strike, while USM Alger beat Al Hilal Benghazi 2-1.
USM Alger secured a thrilling 3-2 win over San Pedro in Algiers, with goals from Houssem Ghacha, Adem Alilet, and Saadi Radouani securing the victory. The Ivorians had pushed hard, scoring through Dramane Kamagate and Mouhammadou Karamoko.
In Group C, Stellenbosch FC made a winning start, scoring a dramatic late winner against AS Otoho in Polokwane. The South African side's victory sets the tone for their campaign.
