Bayern Munich staged an incredible comeback, overcoming a 2-0 deficit to thrash Freiburg 6-2 at the Allianz Arena. This win extends their unbeaten record against Freiburg to 26 home Bundesliga matches.

The match started quietly, but Freiburg took the lead in the 12th minute when Yuito Suzuki scored from a corner. They doubled their lead five minutes later through Johan Manzambi's header. However, Bayern fought back, with Lennart Karl scoring in the 21st minute, assisted by Michael Olise. Olise then equalized with a powerful shot in first-half stoppage time.

The second half was all Bayern, with Dayot Upamecano scoring from Olise's corner, followed by Harry Kane's 14th league goal of the season. Olise continued to shine, setting up Nicolas Jackson for the fifth goal and then scoring his second of the match with a stunning solo effort. This win keeps Bayern top of the Bundesliga table with 31 points.

Freiburg started strong, with Jan-Niklas Beste delivering a low corner that Matthias Ginter flicked on, setting up Yuito Suzuki to score the opening goal. Bayern's struggles continued just five minutes later, as another Beste corner led to Johan Manzambi heading past Manuel Neuer, making it 2-0 for Freiburg.

Karl thought he'd given Bayern the lead seven minutes into the second half, but VAR ruled it offside. Bayern's persistence paid off, though – Upamecano headed home Olise's corner, putting the hosts ahead 3-2.

Bayern were on fire, and they doubled their lead on the hour mark – Harry Kane powering home a fortuitous bounce, beating Atubolu to make it 4-2. Luis Diaz had a chance to make it 5-2, but his effort flew just wide.

Nicolas Jackson replaced the injured Karl and made an instant impact, scoring effortlessly after great work from Olise to make it 5-2. The goals kept coming, with Bayern looking imperious.

Olise capped off a brilliant afternoon with a sensational strike, curling the ball out of Atubolu's reach to seal a 6-2 win for Bayern. This thrilling victory marked Bayern's 17th win in 18 games across all competitions this season.
