AGF bounced back from a disappointing 3-2 home loss to Sonderjyske with a comfortable 2-0 win away to Silkeborg, reclaiming the top spot in the Danish Superliga. Rasmus Carstensen and Markus Solbakken scored the goals for AGF at JYSK Park, with Carstensen's strike coming from a set piece in the first half and Solbakken sealing the win late on.

The visitors could have added more goals, but Silkeborg's goalkeeper Nicolai Larsen made some impressive saves to keep the score respectable. AGF's win puts them back at the top of the table, but FC Midtjylland and Brondby can still overtake them with wins on Sunday, with only two points separating the top teams.

AGF's win was thanks to some top-notch goalkeeping from Nicolai Larsen, who kept Silkeborg in the game despite conceding. The visitors could've scored more, but Larsen was on fire on a chilly evening in Silkeborg.

The win puts AGF back on top of the Danish Superliga, but it's a tight table - only two points separate the top teams. Midtjylland and Brondby can both pip them at the post with wins on Sunday. Silkeborg, on the other hand, dropped to ninth spot after the loss.

Callum McCowatt, the New Zealand international midfielder, made his way onto the pitch for Silkeborg after an hour, having started on the bench. McCowatt's had a great season so far, tied for second in the Superliga's top scorers with eight goals.

Tobias Bech, AGF's striker, had a glaring chance to score his ninth goal, but Rasmus Carstensen's perfect delivery found him with the goal at his mercy - unfortunately, Bech pushed it over the bar.

AGF broke the deadlock in the 33rd minute when Rasmus Carstensen scored from a set piece, hammering the ball into the roof of the net to make it 1-0.

Sebastian Jorgensen started in place of the suspended Kristian Arnstad and had some close calls early in the second half, but Silkeborg goalkeeper Nicolai Larsen was on hand to keep things tight.
