Borussia Dortmund continued their dominance over FC Copenhagen, extending their unbeaten head-to-head record to five matches with a 4-2 win at Parken Stadium in the UEFA Champions League. Dortmund's potent attack was on full display, netting eight goals in their two previous UCL outings, and they eventually found the breakthrough against Copenhagen.
Felix Nmecha's brilliant individual effort sparked Dortmund's opening goal, as he expertly beat several defenders and unleashed a powerful shot that sealed the score. However, just 13 minutes later, Waldemar Anton's unfortunate own goal leveled the score at 1-1.
The German side regained control in the second half with Ramy Bensebaini converting a penalty kick, before Nmecha doubled Dortmund's lead with another impressive goal. Dortmund's fourth goal came courtesy of Fábio Silva, who capitalized on a rebound to seal the win. Viktor Dadason scored Copenhagen's second goal in stoppage time, but it was too little, too late, as Dortmund earned a hard-fought 4-2 victory.
Dortmund's Nmecha delivered a classy performance, working the ball to the edge of the area before evading Elias Achouri's tackle and slotting the ball into the roof of the net. However, the lead was short-lived, as Dortmund missed a golden opportunity to double their advantage through Maximilian Beier.

Just after the 30-minute mark, Dortmund's defense was caught out in comical fashion when Ramy Bensebaini's attempted clearance following Gregor Kobel's save from Youssoufa Moukoko ricocheted off Waldemar Anton and into the net, pegging the game back.
FC Copenhagen pushed hard in the final stages of the first half, with their fans fully behind them. Junnosuke Suzuki's effort, which shot just wide of the left post from inside the box, encapsulated the momentum. At halftime, the deadlock reflected the evenly matched nature of the contest, with neither side able to find a breakthrough.

Dortmund, though not at their attacking best, still managed to capitalize on their momentum. As the game reached the hour mark, Lukas Lerager's foul on Serhou Guirassy resulted in a penalty, which Ramy Bensebaini coolly converted, extending his perfect penalty record. This restored Dortmund's lead and kept the pressure on Copenhagen.
Dortmund sealed the win with a flourish as Felix Nmecha scored his second goal of the match within the final 15 minutes. Fabio Silva, coming off the bench, added a late fourth goal to secure the victory for Niko Kovač's side. Despite a stoppage-time consolation goal from Viktor Dadason, Dortmund's win remained secure, marking their fifth consecutive unbeaten match against Copenhagen.
