Linda Noskova Advances to China Open Semi-Finals
Linda Noskova defeated Sonay Kartal 6-3, 6-4, advancing to the China Open semi-finals. This impressive win marks a significant milestone for Noskova, making her the third player born since 2004 to reach 10 semi-finals on the WTA circuit, alongside Coco Gauff and Diana Shnaider.
Noskova started strong, breaking Kartal early to take a 3-1 lead in the opening set. Although Kartal rallied to level at 3-3, Noskova reclaimed control, converting her third break point to secure the set. She maintained her momentum in the second set, ultimately winning 6-3, 6-4.
