Alaves fell short of making history with consecutive home wins in LaLiga for the first time in over a year, settling for a 0-0 draw against Valencia. This result extended Valencia's winless streak to four matches.

Valencia's winless streak has now been extended to four games after they were held to a goalless draw by a determined Alaves side. Despite Alaves' impressive form, they were unable to capitalize on their chances and win back-to-back home matches in LaLiga for the first time in over a year.


The match was a closely contested affair, with Alaves dominating possession but struggling to create clear-cut chances. Meanwhile, Valencia's Arnaut Danjuma had a strike saved by Antonio Sivera in the opening 30 minutes, which was the only shot on target for either side. Despite their best efforts, neither team could find the breakthrough, and the match ended in a stalemate.


Lucas Boye had the home team's best chance, getting inside the area but sending his effort over the bar. He followed up with another attempt, powering a strike straight at Julen Agirrezabala, and then sent the rebound into the side netting.


Eduardo Coudet's team gained momentum as the half progressed, with Boye finding space to make promising runs. Despite not scoring, they showed signs of improvement and growing confidence on the pitch.




Pablo Ibanez had a shot from just outside the box, but the visiting goalkeeper made a great save to deny him. As the game neared halftime, Lucas Boye continued to cause problems, weaving his way into the box and flashing a shot wide. Despite Alaves' pressure, they couldn't find the back of the net, and the teams headed into halftime at 0-0.

Valencia briefly took control, but it was short-lived. Arnaut Danjuma's strike flew over the bar, and soon after, Lucas Boye headed a corner over the bar with 15 minutes left to play.


In the final minutes, Denis Suarez's free-kick swung in and hit the post, and Lucas Boye blazed the rebound over, denying both teams a late winner.


Despite the disappointment of not scoring, Alaves' point keeps them in the top half of the table, highlighting their strong start to the season. For Valencia, the draw extends their winless streak and marks their seventh visit to Mendizorrotza without a win, with this being the first scoreless draw in their last five trips.
