Just ten minutes into the match, AGF's Norwegian playmaker Kristian Arnstad struck a superb long-range drive to breach the Silkeborg defense and give his team a deserved lead. The home side continued to dominate, and Kevin Yakob doubled the lead after 27 minutes, scoring his first goal since a lengthy knee injury that kept him sidelined for nearly two years. Yakob had come close earlier, hitting the woodwork just seven minutes prior to his goal.
Silkeborg pulled a lifeline back against the run of play when Callum McCowatt scored after a quick one-two with Tonni Admasen in the 34th minute, reducing the deficit to 2-1.
The home side dominated the second half, asserting their control and sealing the win when Tobias Bech pounced on the rebound after Patrick Mortensen's shot hit the woodwork from close range in the 65th minute.

FC Midtjylland capitalized on FC Copenhagen's vulnerability, taking the lead after 18 minutes. Phillip Billing delivered a precise cross across the goal, and Franculino scored from a tight angle, giving Midtjylland a 1-0 advantage. The match has seen some notable moments, with the current score being 1-1.
FC Copenhagen pushed for an equalizer, coming close seven minutes after Franculino's goal when Jordan Larsson received the ball after Mohamed Elyounoussi's impressive run through the Midtjylland defense. However, Jonas Lössl made a crucial save to deny the Swedish striker.
The match remained intense after the break, with both teams exchanging attacks. Midtjylland had a prime opportunity to double their lead when Victor Bak played Junior Brumado through on goal, but Dominik Kotarski made a spectacular save to keep FC Copenhagen in the game.
FC Copenhagen salvaged a point with ten minutes left, Munashe Garananga heading in Jordan Larsson's cross to level the score. However, the equalizer came with controversy, as Garananga was later sent off in injury time for a reckless challenge on Junior Brumado.
