Stellenbosch FC was held to a 0-0 draw by 15 de Agosto in the CAF Confederation Cup second-round first-leg fixture in Equatorial Guinea. Despite the challenging weather conditions and poor pitch, coach Steve Barker remained optimistic about his team's chances, saying, “We were the better team, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to convert one or two of the chances that we created. But the players have done well to come away with a draw in these conditions.” The return leg is scheduled to take place in Cape Town next Sunday.
