Hammarby kept their title hopes alive with a thrilling 2-1 win over AIK in the Stockholm derby. The victory narrows the gap to league leaders Mjallby to eight points with three games remaining.

Mjallby's first-ever Allsvenskan title will have to wait another day. Despite Hammarby's win, Mjallby can seal the championship tomorrow with a win over IFK Goteborg. However, Hammarby's victory ensures the title race remains intense, with the final games promising drama and excitement.

The home side broke the deadlock with just five minutes of the first half remaining. Montader Madjed delivered a precise cross from the right side of the area, which Nahir Besara expertly headed into the bottom corner of the net.

Just before the hour mark, Bajen had a promising chance to take the lead. Adrian Lahdo won the ball back on the halfway line and made a strong run forward, reaching the edge of the area. He then squared the ball to Montader Madjed, whose strike towards the near post was unfortunately too powerful and flew wide of Kristoffer Nordfeldt's post in the AIK goal.

In the final 10 minutes, Aron Csongvai's 25-yard free-kick gave AIK a glimmer of hope. However, Hammarby held firm to secure a 2-1 win, keeping their title aspirations alive.

The result means Mjallby needs just a point tomorrow to clinch the title. Meanwhile, AIK's loss extends their winless streak to four matches, putting their European football hopes in jeopardy as they currently sit in fifth place.

GAIS, currently sitting in third place with a four-point lead over AIK, continued their unbeaten streak with a 3-2 win over Djurgarden. The Gothenburg side's victory halted Djurgarden's impressive 11-match unbeaten run in the league.

Ibrahim Diabate gave GAIS a flying start, scoring within 15 minutes with a clinical finish after chesting down a ball into the box. Amin Boudri doubled the lead不久 after, before Djurgarden staged a brief comeback. However, GAIS sealed the win with Robin Frej's 59th-minute goal, ultimately securing a 3-2 victory

The Mackerels extended their lead to 2-0 eight minutes after the first goal, courtesy of a brilliant counter-attack that began in their own half. Amin Boudri led the charge, beating several opponents before delicately lofting the ball over the advancing Filip Manojlovic.

Djurgarden pulled one back 10 minutes before halftime when August Priske beat the offside trap and finished well. However, their relief was short-lived as Robin Frej restored the two-goal cushion just before the hour mark with a close-range header.

Djurgarden narrowed the deficit again to one goal with 20 minutes remaining, thanks to Mikael Anderson's precise one-time finish that flew into the roof of the net. However, GAIS demonstrated their resilience and held on for a hard-fought 3-2 victory, securing back-to-back wins and ending Djurgarden's unbeaten streak that began on July 13th.

Elfsborg bounced back from their recent slump with a resounding 5-1 thrashing of Oster on Sunday. The win had significant implications for the relegation battle, particularly for Varnamo, who managed to stay ahead of the drop zone after drawing 1-1 with Brommapojkarna.

Varnamo's survival hopes remained alive, albeit barely, after their draw with Brommapojkarna. Oster had given them a scare early on when Oscar Uddenas scored, but Elfsborg's Taylor Silverholt quickly turned the tide with a brace, ultimately leading to a comprehensive victory for the Yellow Blacks.

Varnamo's Allsvenskan status remains precarious after securing a dramatic 1-1 draw with Brommapojkarna. A late goal from Marcus Antonsson in the 90th minute salvaged a point for Varnamo, who are now eight points behind Oster with three matches left to play.

Varnamo's fate hangs in the balance, with their relegation potentially confirmed if Degerfors beats Halmstad tomorrow. A dramatic header from Victor Lind for Brommapojkarna in the 84th minute had seemed to seal Varnamo's fate, but Antonsson's stoppage-time equalizer has kept their survival hopes alive for another round.

Malmo secured a 2-0 win over Norrkoping on Saturday, thanks to goals from Emmanuel Ekong and Hugo Bolin in each half. The victory marked Malmo's second win under Anes Mravac, propelling them to fourth place in the league standings.

The win keeps Malmo just three points behind third-placed GAIS, who have the same goal difference. For Norrköping, the loss extended their losing streak to three matches, leaving them in 12th place and still in danger of falling into the relegation playoff zone, with only four points separating them from the safety zone.

Hacken and Sirius played out a 1-1 draw in Gothenburg, with both teams moving further away from the relegation zone. Mikkel Rygaard's 16th-minute goal gave Hacken the lead, but Isak Bjerkebo's equalizer on the stroke of halftime secured a point for Sirius.

The result keeps both teams within touching distance of safety, with Hacken eight points clear of the bottom three and Sirius five points ahead. The draw extends their respective leads, providing some breathing room in the relegation battle.
