Cremonese extended their unbeaten run with a 1-1 draw against 10-man Como, thanks to Federico Baschirotto's header. Despite being reduced to 10 men after Jesus Rodriguez's red card, Como's Nico Paz had initially given them the lead. Baschirotto's equalizer ensured Cremonese remained unbeaten, with two wins and two draws.

Cremonese have been a surprise package this season, exceeding expectations with their unbeaten record. However, they face injury concerns with Michele Collocolo out for a while with a thigh strain, Faris Moumbagna and Jamie Vardy not fully fit, and Emil Audero pulled out due to injury before the match.

Como welcomed back Jacobo Ramon from suspension but missed Assane Diao and Ignace van der Brempt due to injuries. They had a strong performance in the Coppa Italia, crushing Sassuolo 3-0 on Wednesday.

Como created early opportunities, with Federico Bonazzoli attempting a long-range shot from near the center circle when he spotted goalkeeper Jean Butez off his line. Oliver Kuhn also had a chance, but his shot from the edge of the area sailed over the bar.

Como took the lead when Tasos Douvikas set up Nico Paz with a precise cross from the byline. Paz swept home from 10 yards, giving Como the advantage. However, the match dynamics could change quickly, and the opposing team might look to equalize.

The match intensified as both teams created scoring opportunities. Jesus Rodriguez nearly capitalized on a weak Filippo Terracciano back-header, while Federico Baschirotto's effort hit the side-netting. After the restart, Nico Paz tested Marco Silvestri with a fingertip save, and Giuseppe Pezzella's shot went just wide of the post from Romano Floriani Mussolini's cross.

Cremonese's persistence paid off when Franco Vazquez's corner was flicked on to the back post, and Federico Baschirotto headed home the equalizer into the far bottom corner. The goal gave Cremonese a crucial point and maintained their unbeaten record.

Como pushed forward in search of a winner, with Jesus Rodriguez creating a chance from the edge of the area. However, his momentum was halted when he was sent off for a reckless off-the-ball punch and kick on Filippo Terracciano, which was spotted by VAR.

Despite being reduced to 10 men, Como still threatened to win it, with Jayden Addai's shot hitting the side-netting. In stoppage time, Federico Baschirotto struggled to stop Alvaro Morata from running onto a long ball, while Romano Floriani Mussolini's half-volley went just over the bar.
