The injury, which already kept Zakaria out of Monaco's midweek Champions League defeat to Club Brugge, is expected to keep him sidelined for an extended period. Hutter confirmed the extent of the injury ahead of Sunday's Ligue 1 fixture against Metz, stating, “We don't expect to see him on the pitch for at least two months.” Zakaria's absence will likely lead to changes in Monaco's starting lineup, with young players Lamine Camara and Aladji Bamba potentially seeing more minutes.
Monaco suffered a significant setback in their Champions League campaign, losing 4-1 to Club Brugge without captain Denis Zakaria, who pulled up injured in training.
