With Jeng's arrival, Feyenoord has bolstered its defensive lineup, signing three central defenders this summer: Jeng, Anel Ahmedhodzic, and Tsuyoshi Watanabe. This strategic move aims to strengthen the team's defensive capabilities and provide new head coach Marinos Ouzounidis with more options for the upcoming season.
The additions to Feyenoord's defense are expected to enhance the team's performance in the Eredivisie and European competitions. With a strong defensive lineup, Feyenoord can focus on achieving its goals for the season.
“Feyenoord are a big club that plays in a big league, so I'm looking forward to continuing to grow as a player here. The club have informed me that they see me as a talent, and I believe that Feyenoord have everything I need to develop my skills further. Hopefully, I can contribute to the club's success.”
