Arsenal's rising star Ethan Nwaneri has signed a five-year contract extension, pledging his future to the club. The teenager expressed feeling at home at Arsenal, solidifying his commitment to the team. Nwaneri follows Gabriel Magalhaes and Myles Lewis-Skelly in signing a new deal, ahead of Arsenal's preseason tour of Asia.

Ethan Nwaneri expressed his delight over signing a new five-year contract with Arsenal, stating: “Signing this contract means everything to me. I see this as my first real season in men’s senior football, as part of the squad in the changing room.” The teenager is eager to showcase his skills in challenging for the Premier League title.

Ethan Nwaneri will wear the No. 22 shirt this season, previously worn by David Raya. Nwaneri, who made history as Arsenal's youngest player at 15 years and 181 days in 2022, is set to challenge for the Premier League title with the Gunners.
Ethan Nwaneri advises Arsenal academy stars to “keep patient and have goals in your head,” noting that progression requires clear targets. He explains, “When you're at Hale End, the next target is to get to the Sobha Realty Training Centre. And when you're there, it’s to get in the under-21s.”
