The 36-year-old is “unavailable” for Sunday's friendly match against Como, casting doubt on his presence for Barcelona's La Liga opener against Mallorca on August 16.
Lewandowski scored 42 goals in 52 appearances for Barcelona last season, helping Hansi Flick's side win La Liga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.
