Alejandro Davidovich Fokina upset Czech third seed Jakub Mensik 6-4, 7-5 in the quarterfinals, becoming the first Spaniard to reach the Eastbourne semifinals since 2014. Fokina's impressive performance included expertly handling the wind and hitting impressive dive volleys.
