Barcelona salvaged a 3-3 draw in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final against Inter Milan, recovering from a two-goal deficit early in the game.


Inter Milan got off to a flying start, with Marcus Thuram scoring just 30 seconds in with an audacious flick from Denzel Dumfries' delivery, leaving goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny no chance.


Barcelona pushed hard for an immediate response after the early goal, but Ferran Torres' efforts were wasteful, firing two shots wide from inside the box. Those missed opportunities proved costly.




Inter took advantage of Barca's struggles, doubling their lead in the 21st minute. Denzel Dumfries scored with an impressive acrobatic strike after Francesco Acerbi's clever flick-on. However, the hosts quickly found a way back into the game, with Lamine Yamal producing a moment of brilliance, skipping past several Inter defenders before curling a sublime effort into the far corner.


Lamine Yamal had another scoring opportunity just three minutes later, but Yann Sommer made a spectacular save, tipping the teenager's angled strike onto the bar.




Barcelona continued to pressure Inter's goal as halftime approached. A well-worked team move ended with Raphinha's header finding Ferran Torres, who coolly converted from close range to level the score.


Inter started the second half without Lautaro Martinez due to injury, but they had a chance to retake the lead when Federico Dimarco's shot from 12 yards sailed over the bar.


The visitors continued to pose a threat, and their set-piece expertise paid off again in the 63rd minute. Denzel Dumfries headed home from Hakan Calhanoglu's corner, restoring Inter's lead. However, Barcelona equalized just two minutes later, with Raphinha's long-range strike hitting the bar and bouncing off Yann Sommer, setting up a thrilling conclusion.


The match remained intense, with both teams pushing for a late winner. Henrikh Mkhitaryan had a goal disallowed for offside, while Lamine Yamal's shot hit the woodwork.


In the end, neither team could find a winner, with both sides creating half-chances but unable to capitalize. The 3-3 draw sets up a thrilling return leg at the San Siro next week.
