Kunlavut Vitidsarn, fueled by the home crowd's support, rallied to win the first set 21-16 after Anders Antonsen had an early lead.
Antonsen rebounded in the second set, building a 15-10 lead as Kunlavut appeared to tire. Antonsen capitalized on the momentum, eventually winning the set 21-17 and leveling the match at 1-1.
