Lando Norris Wins Chaotic Miami GP Sprint
Lando Norris wins the Miami GP sprint in chaotic conditions, edging out teammate Oscar Piastri. Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton finishes third.
Lando Norris took the top spot in the Miami GP sprint, edging out his teammate Oscar Piastri in a thrilling, chaotic race marked by unpredictable wet conditions. Norris's win was largely influenced by a well-timed pit stop during a late Safety Car period, which allowed him to maintain his lead.
Piastri had initially taken the lead from polesitter Kimi Antonelli at the first turn, reportedly forcing the 18-year-old Mercedes driver wide, which dropped Antonelli to fourth. Despite this, Piastri couldn't hold off Norris's charge, finishing a close second at +0.672 seconds.

Ferrari's Lewis Hamilton secured third place with a solid strategy call, pitting early for slick tires and navigating the changing conditions effectively. Meanwhile, Antonelli's challenging day ended with a 10th-place finish after struggling to regain positions.
The Miami GP sprint started after a 25-minute delay due to heavy rain. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc was forced out of the race before it even began, crashing into the wall on the formation lap after aquaplaning.
