Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi heaped praise on Barcelona's 17-year-old winger Lamine Yamal after their thrilling 3-3 Champions League semi-final first-leg draw. Yamal scored a stunning solo goal in his 100th Barcelona game, terrorizing Inter's defense throughout the match.

“Yamal is clearly a talent of the type born every 50 years, talents like this I've never really seen before,” Inzaghi said. “I saw him tonight for the first time and he created problems for us, we doubled up on him... and then we lacked players elsewhere on the pitch.” Flick likely shares similar admiration for Yamal's exceptional talent and impact on the game.

Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi expressed pride in his team's performance against Barcelona, highlighting Lamine Yamal's exceptional talent. “It's a reason for great pride, and Yamal is a phenomenon of the kind born every 50 years,” Inzaghi said.

In the second half, Inter successfully limited Yamal's impact, which Inzaghi attributed to tactical adjustments. “We adjusted something, we had to be better on Yamal, which is not very simple,” he explained.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi expressed concerns about captain Lautaro Martinez's fitness for the second leg after the Argentine striker went off injured at halftime. “I have some doubts” about Martinez's availability, Inzaghi said.

Barcelona coach Hansi Flick praised Lamine Yamal, saying, “I'm really happy that this talent that comes every 50 years plays for Barca.” Flick credited Yamal for sparking Barcelona's comeback, adding, “Lamine in the first half was so important for us, he created so many positive things and got the first goal.”

Flick further highlighted Yamal's exceptional quality, stating, “In the big matches you see the quality of this player and he showed it today, it's really good to have him... He's special, he's a genius... you see all the details and it's unbelievable how he does this.” Yamal's stunning solo goal drew comparisons to Barcelona legend Lionel Messi, though the teenager humbly rejected such comparisons before the match.
