Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti praised Barcelona's “beautiful football” and acknowledged that their LaLiga title was well-deserved. He commended the consistency and quality of Barcelona's game ahead of Real's match against Sevilla.
With Barcelona dominating the season, winning LaLiga, Copa del Rey, and Spanish Super Cup, Real Madrid's focus shifts to the Club World Cup as their only remaining chance for silverware this year after being knocked out of the Champions League.
“This is part of football, sometimes you're not able to get the best out of everyone. Barcelona have done very well, because they've been more consistent in the league and played very beautiful football,” Ancelotti told reporters.
“I congratulate them. They deserved to win this league. Next year will be a different story.”
Real Madrid suffered a tough season, losing all four encounters against Barcelona across various competitions. Barcelona's impressive attack scored 97 goals in 36 league matches, 23 more than Real Madrid's tally.
Ancelotti, set to depart at the end of the season to coach Brazil, attributed some of his team's struggles to the number of injuries they faced. Despite the challenges, he praised his players, saying, “This team has been able to believe even when no one believed (in us). I will never criticise these players who have been able to give me so much joy over the years.”

Carlo Ancelotti reflected on his final season at Real Madrid, noting that it would have been even better if the team had contested the LaLiga title until the final day. Despite mostly successful years across two stints at the Santiago Bernabéu, the season fell short of expectations.
Ahead of the match against Sevilla, Ancelotti acknowledged the challenge ahead, saying, “The Sevilla ground (Pizjuan) has always been difficult for us, our goal is to try to finish the season on a high note.”

“I wanted to enjoy it in a different way, fighting until the last day for the league. Which hasn't been (the case), but I'm (still) enjoying it. And then, (I have) to prepare for another challenge.”
