“The focus is now fully on the Tour de France,” Vingegaard said in a Visma-Lease a Bike statement. “I no longer have any issues from the concussion I sustained earlier, or any other physical problems. It's important to work on that and to leave nothing to chance.” Vingegaard won the Tour in 2022 and 2023 but finished second to Tadej Pogacar last year. This year's Tour de France takes place from July 5th-27th, with Vingegaard set to begin his preparation at the Criterium du Dauphine from June 8th-15th.

He was not in the Tour de Romandie startlist during the race presentation so his first race again will be likely just Criterium du Dauphine against Tadej Pogačar.
