Unity Cup 2025: Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago Set to Clash


The Unity Cup returns in 2025, featuring Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago in an exciting Afro-Caribbean tournament.



The Gtech Community Stadium in London, UK, will host the 2025 Unity Cup, featuring top-tier international football from Africa and the Caribbean. This year's tournament brings together four exciting teams: Ghana, Nigeria, Jamaica, and Trinidad & Tobago, competing for bragging rights in the Afro-Caribbean invitational tournament.


Tournament Schedule

The competition kicks off with two thrilling semi-finals:

Trinidad & Tobago vs. Jamaica: Tuesday, May 27 (the “Trini-Jam” clash)

Nigeria vs. Ghana: Wednesday, May 28

The winners will face off in the grand finale on Saturday, May 31, while the losers will play a third-place match.


Unity Cup Significance

This tournament offers a unique opportunity for teams to bond and showcase their skills ahead of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers in September. The Unity Cup also celebrates the deep cultural and sporting ties between Africa and the Caribbean, providing a platform for players to shine.

Semi-Final Matchups and Schedule

The tournament's semi-finals are set to feature exciting matchups. Jamaica will face Trinidad & Tobago on May 27th in the first semi-final. The following day, the Black Stars will renew their rivalry with Nigeria.


Third-Place Playoff and Final

The losers of the semi-finals will compete in the third-place playoff on May 31st. The final match will also take place on May 31st, determining the tournament champion.
