The tie was leveled again when Celje took the lead with 66 minutes played, courtesy of Klemen Nemanic's stunning header into the top-left corner. However, Fiorentina quickly regained the lead just a minute later, as Moise Kean's impressive strike bent into the far bottom-right corner.

Fiorentina held on to secure their spot in the semi-finals, ending Celje's Cinderella story. La Viola remained unbeaten in 12 two-legged UEFA Conference League ties, advancing to the next round with a 4-3 aggregate score.
