Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has returned to work after recovering from pneumonia, the club confirms.



Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has returned to work at the club's training center after recovering from pneumonia. The 47-year-old was hospitalized earlier this month and missed three league games, including matches against Manchester United, Crystal Palace, and Aston Villa.




“Newcastle United are delighted to confirm that Eddie Howe has returned to his duties at the club's training centre,” the club announced. “Eddie had recently been hospitalised with pneumonia and has now returned to work after a period of recovery. We thank supporters for their warm wishes.” With Howe back at the helm, the Magpies can focus on their upcoming fixtures.


Newcastle United's recent form has been mixed under assistant manager Jason Tindall, with convincing wins over Manchester United and Crystal Palace, but a heavy loss to Aston Villa. The Magpies, fresh from winning the League Cup, are set to host Ipswich on Saturday, aiming to regain momentum in their push for a top-five finish.
