Arteta Confirms Saka's Return to Arsenal Starting Lineup

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is ready to return to the starting lineup against Fulham after a three-month injury layoff.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given a positive update on the fitness of Bukayo Saka, stating that the England forward is “ready to go” after a three-month layoff due to a hamstring injury. Saka, 23, has been sidelined since Arsenal's 5-1 win at Crystal Palace on December 21st, but Arteta is confident that he is now ready to return to action.

Arteta expressed his satisfaction with Saka's progress, emphasizing that the careful approach to his rehabilitation has paid off. “Bukayo is ready to go,” Arteta said on the eve of Arsenal's match against Fulham on Tuesday. “All the careful things are already done so now it's about putting him on the grass in the right moments.”

Arteta revealed that Saka is eager to return to action and has had to be held back at times to ensure his injury is fully healed. “But he's pushing because he really wants to,” Arteta noted. “We have respected the timeframe and we have done everything and we had to hold him back, even. He is ready to go.” With Saka's return imminent, Arsenal will be boosted by the addition of their talented forward as they continue their push for success this season.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka could start in the team's upcoming match against Fulham at the Emirates. When asked about Saka's potential starting role, Arteta replied simply, “Yeah, yeah.”

Arteta emphasized the significance of Saka's return to the team, highlighting his importance to their success. “Bukayo is a massive weapon, Arteta said. “We know the impact that he has had in the team and how important his role and his contribution is to our success. It's great to have him back.”

With nine games remaining in the Premier League season, Arsenal are currently 12 points behind leaders Liverpool, making their title hopes seem unlikely. However, the team has achieved success in the Champions League, advancing to the quarter-finals, where they will face Real Madrid in a highly anticipated matchup, with the first leg scheduled for April 8th.

The return of Saka is a timely boost for Arteta, who has been dealing with a shortage of attacking options due to the long-term injuries of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. Saka's presence is expected to provide a significant lift to the team's firepower, and his potential start against Fulham will be a welcome sight for Arsenal fans.
