Wozniacki's withdrawal from the Australian Open sparked speculation that she might be retiring from professional tennis. However, she has denied these rumors, stating that she plans to return to the sport after a short break. “I hope after a short break to be back soon,” Wozniacki said.
Wozniacki's last competitive match was at the US Open in late summer, where she reached the Round of 16. Currently ranked 72nd in the world, the former world No. 1 is taking time to address her physical health before plotting her return to the tennis circuit.
