PSG New Boy Kvaratskhelia to Make Ligue 1 Debut This Weekend

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is set to make his PSG debut against Reims in Ligue 1 this weekend after joining from Napoli.

One player to keep an eye on this weekend is Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian winger who could make his debut for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) when they host Reims on Saturday. Kvaratskhelia joined PSG from Napoli for a reported 70 million euros ($72m) just a week ago, but was not included in the squad for their win at Lens last Saturday. Although he is ineligible to play for PSG in the Champions League, Kvaratskhelia will be eager to make an impact in Ligue 1.

Here are some key statistics to note ahead of this weekend's Ligue 1 matches: PSG has an impressive record in the league, having lost just twice in 52 Ligue 1 matches since the start of last season. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Anthony Lopes, who recently joined Nantes, will face his hometown club Lyon on Sunday. Lopes played 489 games for Lyon, placing him fifth on their list of all-time appearance makers. Additionally, Marseille has been impressive on the road, winning eight of their nine away games in Ligue 1 this season.
